The development of the restoration project of the wing of the National Museum of Art named after Bogdan and Varvara Khanenko provides for an increase in the total building area from 253 m2 to 1842 m2 (excluding the terrace), which includes:

1. Superstructure of the third floor with a terrace

2. Connection of the wing to the main building by overlapping the patio with a glass dome

3. Creation of a modern open-type storage facility (accessible to visitors) and a restoration workshop

4. Increase in exposure areas

5. Equipment of premises with modern climate control system

6. Providing access to the museum for people with disabilities (elevators, ramps, etc.)

7. Provide premises for the creation of a children’s museum center

8. Recreational area – cafe, museum stores
